Chaga is a remarkable medicinal mushroom that grows on living trees and resembles a large piece of burnt charcoal.

It grows most abundantly on nearly all species of birch and is found in the Northern circumpolar region of the earth.

Why am I bringing up Chaga?

To manage stress is one thing to reverse the adverse affects of chronic stress is another.

Chaga contains one of the highest amounts of anti-tumor compounds, such as Betulinic Acid, from any other medicinal mushrooms known.

The mycelium of the mushroom provides special compounds and metabolites that support longevity, immunity, and health.

Data from research conducted at facilities all over the world indicates that chaga contains a full assortment of nutrients including but not limited to:

• Antioxidants: Chaga is second only to cacao in antioxidants of any whole food or herb in the world (excluding powders)
• Polysaccharides (beta glucans, protein-bound xylogalactoglucans, etc.)
• Melanin: Chaga is the best source of this nutrient found in Nature.
• Vitamins B2, D2

(Tree mushroom allergies are rare and chaga is generally considered hypo-allergenic)
